What are LOHAS Consumers? [VIDEO]

DocuKnowledge had the opportunity to interview down with the Ted Ning of the LOHAS Group and NatchCom to learn about targeting the consumer segment "Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability" or "LOHAS". The market is defined as "consumers that want to buy products and services in line with their personal values" and who are willing to spend 20% more to achieve this. Representing 13-19% of the US adult population on average, LOHAS consumer are early adopters and investigate the brands they purchase: they are the "sniffers of authenticity". Understanding the motivations driving this significant consumer segment can help shape messaging for brand or service provider operating in health and sustainability.
